The mornings have turned

The cool has settled in early this year. Mist sits in the valley until about eight, then lifts all at once and the whole ridge comes back. Worth setting an alarm for, which is not something we often say here.

A long table kind of weekend

A family took the house for four nights and barely left it. Meals ran late, the deck doors stayed open, and nobody looked at a schedule. That is more or less exactly what the place is for.

What time can we arrive, and when do we need to leave?

Check-in and check-out times are listed on this page. If you need a little longer at either end, tell us when you enquire and we will confirm what is possible for your dates.

Is the whole house ours?

Yes. Gloria's is let to one group at a time, so the house, the deck and the garden are yours for the whole of your stay. You will not be sharing with anyone else.

How do we get there?

The property is in Dahilayan, in the highlands of Bukidnon. Use the directions link on this page for door-to-door navigation, and message us before you set out if you would like us to talk you through the last stretch.

Can we bring our dog?

Ask us when you enquire and we will let you know for your dates. If pets are welcome we will explain where they can and cannot go before you arrive.

Do we need to bring anything?

Bring warm layers — the highlands are cooler than the lowlands, especially in the early morning and after dark. Tell us what you are planning and we will say what is already here and what is worth packing.
